This course is designed to equip students with practical skills in team leadership, laboratory compliance, project management and more. Suitable for workers in a range of industries, including those in supervisory and similar roles.

There are 10 total units of competency in this qualification. Streams can be customised to suit industry requirements. 

6 core units:

• MSL946003 Implement and monitor WHS and environmental management systems
• MSL916011 Develop and maintain laboratory documentation
• MSL916014 Maintain registration and statutory or legal compliance in work or functional area
• MSL936005 Maintain quality system and continuous improvement processes within work or functional area
• MSL916013 Supervise laboratory operations in work or functional area
• MSL916012 Manage and develop teams

4 elective units:

• MSL976006 Evaluate and select appropriate test methods and/or procedures
• MSL936006 Conduct an internal audit of the quality system
• MSL915004 Schedule laboratory work for a small team
• MSL916015 Manage complex projects
