This masterclass is designed to immerse participants in the world of Agile, providing a comprehensive introduction to its methodologies, philosophy, values, and principles. Participants explore why organisations choose Agile, highlighting the comparative benefits and reasons for its adoption.

 

Participants will learn and apply essential tools and techniques, such as developing and refining product backlogs, defining user requirements and quality standards, and estimating project durations.

 

The course includes practical reviews and retrospectives to help in obtaining and applying feedback, manage risks, and refine processes effectively. Participants assess the applicability and readiness of their organisation for Agile adoption, aiming to equip participants with a roadmap to implement these strategies in the workplace.

Course Content

Through this course participants will develop the skills and knowledge to:

  • Develop an understanding of the underpinning philosophy, principles, and benefits of Agile
  • Memorise the different Agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Understand the key roles, events, and artifacts of Agile
  • Apply tools and techniques of the Agile project life cycle to a simulated project

  • Understand the different management styles needed for successful Agile projects
  • Consider the steps required and challenges faced in implementing Agile within an organisation.
