Gain a brief introduction to the field of human factors as it relates to mining, and an awareness of key considerations, issues and approaches.
This course focuses on the contribution that human factors approaches can make in optimising mining equipment design, designing for diversity, and equipment operations and maintenance through evidence-based insights and real-world examples.
Developed and led by leading human factors researchers and practitioners from the Minerals Industry Safety and Health Centre (MISHC) at The University of Queensland’s Sustainable Minerals Institute.
