Course Overview

The HR Supervisor Certification Program is designed to assess and enhance the technical, managerial, and strategic competencies of professionals responsible for overseeing human resource functions at the supervisory level. The training is aligned with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) and prepares participants for the national certification examination.

 

Training Objectives

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the roles and responsibilities of an HR Supervisor
  • Strengthen practical skills in managing key HR systems, including SOP development, remuneration planning, employee training, and work agreement formulation
  • Equip participants to successfully complete the certification exam and obtain a nationally recognized credential

     

Program Duration

  • Day 1: Competency Unit Training & Briefing (8 hours)
  • Day 2: Advanced Training & Certification Exam Simulation (8 hours)
  • Day 3: Certification Exam by LSP (8 hours)

 

 

Course Content

  1. Developing Job Descriptions
    In this unit, participants will learn how to conduct job analysis and translate the findings into well-structured job descriptions. Emphasis will be placed on identifying job roles, duties, qualifications, and performance expectations. This competency ensures that HR Supervisors can create standardized, legally compliant, and functional job documentation that serves as the foundation for recruitment, performance appraisal, training, and career development systems.
  2. Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in HR
    This unit focuses on the formulation and documentation of HR-related SOPs to improve operational efficiency and standardization. Participants will explore methods for identifying critical HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, grievance handling, and employee exit procedures. They will also learn how to ensure these SOPs are in line with organizational goals, labor regulations, and internal audit standards.
  3. Implementing Remuneration Systems
    Participants will develop skills in designing and implementing fair, competitive, and transparent remuneration systems. This includes understanding salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits. The unit covers the importance of internal equity and market competitiveness, as well as compliance with relevant laws and taxation. Practical exercises will include salary benchmarking and policy drafting.
  4. Planning Learning and Development Needs
    This competency teaches participants how to assess employee performance gaps and plan appropriate training interventions. Participants will learn how to create annual training plans, identify strategic development needs, and coordinate with trainers or learning vendors. The unit emphasizes linking learning programs with performance improvement, succession planning, and employee engagement strategies.
  5. Drafting Work Agreements
    In this final unit, participants will be trained to draft, review, and revise employment agreements that reflect both company policies and applicable labor laws. Topics include types of contracts, legal clauses, termination provisions, and confidentiality terms. This competency is essential for ensuring that work agreements protect the interests of both the employer and employee while fostering a transparent and compliant working relationship.

Prerequisites

Participant Requirements

To be eligible for this program, participants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Minimum D2 education (at least in the 4th semester) and at least 2 years of experience in human resources, or
  • Possess a HR-related training/internship certificate and relevant work experience, or
  • Be a current HR staff member with a minimum of 1 year of experience and a valid HR staff competency certificate
