Course Overview

The role of a Business Analyst has changed substantially in recent years. While specialist Business Analysts still have a place, the ability to undertake Business Analysis tasks is now a core skill for most professionals.

 

This course is intended for anyone needing a broad knowledge of the key activities and techniques involved in business analysis. It is suitable for new Business Analysts or anyone who is expected to complete some business analysis work as part of their role. 

 

Participants will also learn to manage solution assessments and validations and be able to apply business analysis techniques to identify problems and opportunities within their organisation. The ability to analyse, solve problems, capitalise on opportunities, define solutions, and create efficiencies can be learnt in this course.

Through this course participants will develop the skills and knowledge to:

  • Explain the context that Business Analysts operate in
  • Determine what artefacts are required to support organisational change initiatives
  • Explain different project variables and how they impact on the Business Analyst role

  • Apply business analysis techniques to identify key problems and potential opportunities in your organisation

  • Manage solution assessment and validation.
