Session 1: Information on the Australian catering service and commercial cookery industry (including regulation and industrial entry requirements of the industry).
Session 2: Understanding outdoor catering.
Session 3: The process of planning catering for events or functions in Australia.
Session 4: Introduction to Australian food safety regulations and issues.
Session 5: Understanding how to work effectively as a cook.
Session 6: Recommendations for social and cultural sensitivity within the Australian catering service and commercial cookery sector.
The three-day online program consists of six, 2-hour sessions (4 hours per day). No assessment is required, however, a Certificate of Participation will be awarded for each completed program.
